The NodeMCU-32S sits on a custom PCB with female dupont sockets at four spacings in parallel (26 mm, 23.46 mm, 20.92 mm, plus the original layout) so a wide range of ESP32 dev boards drop straight in. Six RJ45 ports labelled 1–4, IN, AUX wire to four configurable I/O lines plus power rails. The USB port stays accessible through the enclosure for emergency wired flashing — OTA is the primary path.
